Hodnotenie vplyvu sankcií proti Ruskej federácii na odvetvie dopravy

The paper maps the sanctions adopted by the European Union (EU) and against the Russian Federation (RF) in the context of the conflict in Ukraine and their impact on the transport industry. It presents the structure of the adopted packages of EU economic sanctions against Russia in the context of time and content. Subsequently, it evaluates the effectiveness of the economic sanctions adopted in 2022 focused on the transport sector. It evaluates the economic consequences of sanctions against the RF from the point of view of volumes of transported tonne-kilometers (tkm) in sea, air and road transport based on statistical data. From the point of view of the impact of sanctions on the transport sector, it can be stated that they were most reflected in air transport, while in sea and road transport the impact of sanctions was not so visible on the indicators of transported tkm of the RF.
