Pošta, telekomunikácie a elektronický obchod 2026, 21(1) | DOI: 10.26552/pte.C.2026.1.1
In recent years, instant messaging (IM) has become an important communication tool in academic settings. Universities, students, and faculty use it to share information, collaborate, and coordinate educational activities. This paper focuses on a secondary analysis of academic sources to assess the benefits, risks, and security issues associated with students' use of instant messaging technology. Based on an analysis of more than 30 peer-reviewed publications, major threats such as social engineering, phishing, and insufficient encryption, along with the security level of each IM platform, are identified. At the same time, specific measures are proposed...

Marek Miklúš, Natália Stalmašeková
Pošta, telekomunikácie a elektronický obchod 2026, 21(1) | DOI: 10.26552/pte.C.2026.1.2
The rapid growth of e-commerce has significantly transformed consumer decision-making processes. Psychological factors play a crucial role in shaping customer behavior in online environments. This article examines key motivators influencing purchasing decisions in e-shops, including website design, social proof (reviews and ratings), personalized marketing, and psychological effects such as the anchoring effect, fear of missing out (FOMO), and pricing strategies. Special attention is given to the role of heuristics and cognitive shortcuts that impact the speed and nature of consumer decision-making in digital spaces. Research findings indicate...

Peter Malacký
Pošta, telekomunikácie a elektronický obchod 2026, 21(1) | DOI: 10.26552/pte.C.2026.1.4
We describe how to apply agile and hypothesis-driven practices to optimization software development. By adding experimental backlog items that pair user stories with solver tasks, data tests, and clear hypotheses, each sprint delivers both a functional increment and a statistically validated improvement. The approach is grounded in agile values and evidence-based management.

Peter Malacký, Zuzana Malacká
Pošta, telekomunikácie a elektronický obchod 2026, 21(1) | DOI: 10.26552/pte.C.2026.1.5
This paper examines the advantages of deploying electric trucks in transport logistics, with emphasis on environmental, economic, and social implications. It also aims to strengthen the algorithmic basis for mathematical and economic modelling of logistics networks in the context of digitalization and advanced transport technologies.
